Coming Up: Macs Practice Law Week!
By Sheryl | February 7, 2008
In just 11 days, here at The Inspired Solo and at my good friend Finis Price’s excellent blog TechnoEsq. we’ll be having a party, and you’re invited.
This isn’t just any party, mind you. It’s a party with a purpose. We’re going to celebrate Macintosh computers as the amazing technological partners in law practice that they are, and hopefully debunk some widespread misconceptions about Macs in business, specifically in solo and small law firm offices everywhere.
It’s Macs Practice Law Week. And the best part? It’s a gift-giving occasion — but you, the readers, get the presents!
We’re lining up some amazing gifts for readers who leave comments. We can’t say what just yet but trust me, it’ll be worth the price of a comment or two. More on that later.
We’re looking forward to hosting some guest posts, and writing about our own experiences with Macs, all in the name of setting the record straight. You know how lawyers just love to “fix” the record.
This is the clarion call to all law bloggers who work with Macs to join the party. Here’s how:
- Write a post that discusses some aspect of Macs in your law practice. It can be anything from a software review to a personal story to a “top ten” list of tricks and tips. Your creativity is the only limit.
- Put “MPL Week” in your title when you publish the post to your blog anytime during the week of February 18th.
- Drop an email to theinspiredsolo at gmail dot com (you know how we do) and give us a link to your post.
- We’ll take care of the rest!
Law bloggers who participate will get special credit here and on TechnoEsq., and — maybe — something else. I’m working on that.
We’ll have more updates on MPL Week in coming days, but for now, this one’s to all the Mac users out there. Here’s your opportunity to tell your PC counterparts just what they’re missing!
