Comments: This PDF presents a pretty awesome outline of Retainer Agreements 101 – what they are, what they need to include, how to draft them, how to structure them. Required reading, especially for Inspired Solos thinking of opening their practices either directly after graduation from law school, or otherwise with no prior private practice experience (as I did – despite 10 years experience in the public sector, I’d never had to draft a retainer agreement before I became an IS!).
